IBleedMACGreen
This just came across my sports feed updates - Akron is projected as a #13 seed in today's NCAA Tournament projections. Word around the media was the MAC Champs may get a #15 seed this year so a 13 or 14 would be a positive I guess. I just hope you all get a favorable matchup and pull an upset or two. Dave in Green
Thanks. Interesting that the other #13 seeds are Stephen F. Austin, VCU and Cleveland State.
johnnyzip84
I still think a #14 seed is more likely. Not that I care about the Red & Silver, I wonder if the seeding of OSU and Purdue depends at all on who wins the Little 11 tourney?
MDZip
I think we would have had a 13 had Mississippi St not won. I think they bumped us out of the last 13. Bet we're a 14 now.
bUAkronG
Well we know we're in the South region now. The people here at OBC seem to be disappointed when we don't get a 12 seed haha

zippy5
here's our chance to be the "Gonzaga of the East" when do the details for the Rowdies trip come out?!?!?
zippyfan34
I'm not finding any flights less than $575. That stinks, I wish we were the 14 seed going to Miami and getting a ticket for under $300 would be easy. I don't think I can swing over $1k for me and the Mrs. to make the trip to Oregon. ZippyTuba11
We've been calling for this game for a few years now. Too bad it's in Portland. Still, I think Akron has a great chance and I think it will be a great game.
UAZipster0305
To become the Gonzaga of the East, we must first prove we can play with the Gonzaga of the West. I like the matchup, but not the location.

zippyrifle32
Playing Gonzaga in Oregon...no goodno not good. it is actually ironic for me. gonzaga, my mom's (who i can't stand) alma matter playing against my school an hour from my hometown. i'd make a bet with the woman, but that would require me to make contact with her. Correct me if I'm wrong but that is from the Zips' last possession of the MACC when McNees was dribbling up court to finalize the win.
