ZachTheZip Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 Maybe they're like OSU and attendance is completely free. No ticket required. Or maybe not. Quote

The Nittany Lions will conclude play at the 2010 Penn State Classic on Sun., Sept. 12 when it faces Binghamton, which fell to Ohio State, 1-0, in tonight's tournament opener, at 2:30 p.m. at Jeffrey Field. Couldn't stop the impulse to bring this to Zipmeister's attention. However, the award for misappropriated statement of the week goes to the football coach from James Madison. I turned on ESPNNews after the VaTech-JMU game, just as the JMU coach was being interviewed. His analysis of what went wrong for the opposition: "Virginia Tech was just not firing on all syllables." Wally B Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Posted October 7, 2010 Less than a wek to go, and i'm relly looking forward to this game!!! Anyone have a vibe on PAState? Will the rowdies make the trip? Quote
RootforRoo44 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 1) The game is free. 2) I'm heading up with a group of 4 (so far) and tailgating early. Quote
jem101 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Unfortunately, 4 hours is a long drive for a Wednesday night. Wish they had the PSU and MSU games on a Saturday. Then I'd definitely be up for a couple road trips. I know that the Big Ten Network is broadcasting the game through their StudentU programming on Thursday at 4:00. They'll also be streaming it live on heir website, and the cheapest subscription fee is a $6.95 monthly subscription. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Weekday or not, it's hard to pass up a trip to State College in mid-October. Quote

I just wish they were broadcasting it live. Edit: Looks like the link takes you to today's programming schedule. You're going to need to select next Thursday from the drop down box. Quote
GoZips Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Weekday or not, it's hard to pass up a trip to State College in mid-October. Never, ever, visit Happy Valley and not visit the Creamery. PSU has a college of Ice Cream. At the Creamery you can buy fresh made ice cream. PSU students make the fantastic concoction beginning right from on campus cows. Quote

RootforRoo44 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 So there is a small chance that we will see Poni in goal on Wednesday, what does everyone think about that? I'm personally not too worried as i think in most games i could be in goal and we'd probably still win. Though nothing against Meves or anything, the guy is BIGTIME Quote
jem101 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Penn State beat Michigan State this afternoon 2-1. Hopefully we're up to full strength for what should be a hard fought battle on Wednesday. Quote

Poni did a great job, making a number of saves. Quote
