Hilltopper Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Maybe we should ask him? It would be kind of cool. Quote
Dr Z Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I would hope his drummer in his new band would do it with him. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted January 10, 2011 Author Report Posted January 10, 2011 Maybe we should ask him? It would be kind of cool. Maybe? You have the former lead singer for Judas Priest sponsoring your team...he's 1.2 miles from the JAR...it is a no-brainer. You could actually make a fun promotion out of it that might put a few butts in the seats. What a concept. Quote
Dr Z Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 He sang in the choir, should be perfect. I'm sure he would love to promote his new CD. PS When I went to the Browns/Ravens game, they did a similar thing with a local "rocker", I can't remember his name though. IMO less famous than RO. He sang the national anthem and they did a little biography on the big screen where he claimed to be a fan. Steelers do the same thing with a local band called 'The Clarks'. I think this is a great idea. Quote
GP1 Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I remember when The Ripper was singing with this band. It was a great band with him and they remained good even after he played with JP. Sometimes The Ripper will even come up on That Metal Show. If you like metal, That Metal Show is a must see. Quote
Big Zip Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Seattle played at Rippers Tap Room a week or two ago. I heard Ripper was going to step on stage for a few songs too. Why not have his band play a show after the game at the JAR? Quote
