I've been trying to find our full spring schedule, but it's not out yet.

So far, we know about the Spain trip. Xavier announced their schedule and they are playing at Akron on April 16th at 1 PM. We're also playing Notre Dame, but the date is unknown.

Porter talked about playing home against Cleveland State at the American Outlaws' USA/Chile watch party a few weeks ago. Also, Maryland at home too i've heard.

Yes, Caleb said the Zips are home against Cleveland State, Xavier, and Maryland this Spring. He also mentioned 2 games in one day at Ultimate Soccer Arenas (nice place) in Pontiac, MI...one of them against the Wolverines...as well as a trip to Xenia, OH.

Who are we scheduled to play in Xenia; Central State or Wilberforce? Please reply ASAP so we can notify the appropriate school to start a soccer team.

I still have some eligibility left (if not legs). Please forward contact information for Central State.

I believe the schedule is pretty much set. Wake Forest is returning to Lee Jackson. Penn St is also making a return to the Pouch. Playing Michigan at Michigan. Obviously the CA games.

So you're saying we will be playing our regular MAC and Big Ten schedules ;) ? OSU, PSU, MSU at home, UM and maybe one other on the road?

Don't know. The trip to Xenia is on the Spring schedule and is a "soccer event" involving schools that aren't necessarily local.

Tracking the Zips: Porter Corresponds from Spain

I am really glad they are doing this. I was going to be pretty upset if we didn't really get a glimpse of what the team was experiencing overseas. I even asked Anthony Ponikvar if he could do his blog while in Spain. This is just as good though, can't wait to hear more.

I agree and look forward to reading more. I was going to be upset, like you, if we didn't get any news.

Teams played to 2-2 draw @Getafe. Athletic fails to keep pace with Espanyol, falls to 6th, but maintains Europa League spot. Getafe in 11th.

I'm sure all the Akron La Liga followers were sitting on pins and needles for this result. :D
