GP1
LinkJabari plays for Calgary. They lost a close one last night. If you have NFL Network you could have saw it. No catches but gets to play quite a bit. Two very bad teams.
InTheZone
Jermaine Reid was also playing in that game, as a starting defensive tackle for the Eskimos. And the Eskimos aren't a horrible team, in fact, they are 4-0.
InTheZone
Reid's had a good start to the season, winning the CFL's player of the week:http://www.vancouversun.com/sports/Esks+Je...8157/story.html
GP1
And the Eskimos aren't a horrible team, in fact, they are 4-0.Both teams weren't very good the other night. I've found that with CFL games, they are really entertaining or they are really bad. On the whole, I really enjoy watching the games when there is no college or NFL. Sort of the same way I enjoy watching the Arena League....any port in a storm I guess.

I was wondering why Jermaine wasn't on Hamilton's roster anymore. Sounds like he's found a much better situation in Edmonton. I had the opportunity for chat with him on numerous occasions after his playing days at UA. He's a very pleasant guy off of the field. It's nice to see him finding success on it. Those are the only former Zips I know of in the CFL currently. Cam Yeow is out of the league though still playing some Semi-Pro up there I believe, and Jason Nedd is a former CFLer who's finished as well. He had been playing indoors for the Gladiators.

MDZip
Edmonton can't seem to get enough Zips. Pretty funny quote from the article - "Since Shawn knows our game from his playing experience in Saskatchewan last year, combined with having a passport, he was an ideal addition on short notice". Apparently I was only missing game expereince with Saskatchewan or I could have been on the radar. I meet requirement two already.

If I was a "borderline" (ouch) NFL prospect, I think I'd make sure to have a passport in case plan A falls through
