Tickets came today.

Got my season tickets today. Unfortunately, I did not get lot 9. I called my ticket rep to see if the lot was full or if I could upgrade with a larger donation to the Z-fund. He said he would check it out for me and let me know, but I am totally bummed. If I can't pull the upgrade, I am going to have to leave my tailgating gear in the garage because its just not worth setting up otherwise

Hold everything. As I was typing this the phone rang. My rep, Anthony DiFino, was calling me back to let me know that a mistake was made and my lot 9 pass was in his hand and that he would put it in the mail immediately. Wow. Talk about going from down in the dumps to ecstatic in a matter of minutes. Here's the kicker. To say sorry for the mix up, I get to go down on the field for warmups for 1 game. I chose Can't.

Hot damn! Time to go buy the tailgating upgrades I have been waiting to make until I knew I was going to get lot 9. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

I think the chance that lot 9 is more than 50% full any time after game 1 is really slim. Unless it is loaded with University employee vehicles.

Got my season tickets on Monday. Consistent per the last decade, they were screwed up.

Because my credit card number was incorrect, they elected not to include my Ohio State tickets.

Although they have 3 phone numbers and two email addresses for me...no phone call or email was deemed necessary. The credit card number didn't work, so they canceled my Zips/OSU order. Nice.

We'll see if they arrive as promised.

Update: Tickets arrived today. The ticket guy wrote a very nice apology letter.

Next update: Basketball season tickets. Stay tuned...

Got one set aside for you and JZ. I finished a complete one, which is a compliment to any "fruit" beer. It has a surprisingly decent taste, not perfume tasting. I've handed one to about 6 different people, everyone seemed to enjoy.
