ZachTheZip Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 http://gozips.com/general/2011_Fall_Streaming http://www.gozips.com/multimedia/broadcasts/2011-12 The MAC just made the best decision in conference history. Not only will all our home games be streamed for FREE on GoZips.com via the MAC website, but all conference road games as well since this is league-wide! Quote
Blue & Gold Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Most excellent! It's also great to see that 1350 will be broadcasting 9 men's futbol games (as well as 1 ladies' match). Quote
zip37 Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Any idea if there is a log in and all that stuff to do, or does one just navigate the gozips.com wrb site? Quote
ZachTheZip Posted August 26, 2011 Author Report Posted August 26, 2011 I'm assuming that it's modeled after the Horizon League Network. If I recall, there was no login required to watch that. Requiring a login hurts viewership and therefor possible ad revenue, so I hope that they won't have a mandatory one (having an optional one where it saves your settings so you don't have to adjust every time is fine). zip37 Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 WOW! the MAC caught up w/the HL, imagine that! Quote
Dr Z Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 WOW! the MAC caught up w/the HL, imagine that!I'm not sure I posted this, I did a search and can't find anything. I did a "ask the ad" email, and said something to the fact that I enjoyed watching the HL web stream, why can't the mac do it? The reply was something to the effect of, it is coming, or we are trying. Glad it's here! Quote
Blue & Gold Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Does anyone know whether the live streams include play-by-play? Perhaps synched w/ Frenchi on 1350? Perhaps no audio? I don't care either way, I'm just happy to be able to watch! Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 How will UA make up the $149.97 from the 2010-11 paid subscriber base? Quote
Zip Watcher Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 How will UA make up the $149.97 from the 2010-11 paid subscriber base? Or what will Akronzips71 post about now? Quote

Blue & Gold Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 4-0 @ the half! Keep pumpin' 'em, Zips! It's a Cleveland beatdown! The announcer is doing a very nice job. The camera work is just okay. I thoroughly enjoy the wide-angle view from the pressbox. However, the field-level zoom view is infuriating. The angle gives no view of what's happening on the field and actually caused us to miss Mattocks' first goal. Just leave it on wide-angle, fellas! Quote
MDZip Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 Completely agree. They also missed Balogun's goal because of it. I've lost the audio stream at this point but the video is still working well. Good move by the MAC. Quote
MDZip Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 Beautiful start to the title defense and a nice payback for last year. And an NCAA record to boot. Quote
Spin Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 That's great news!!! We know how hard it is to get good seats at the games. And the football team is going to be on ESPN3? I don't know if that's good or bad. We'll be able to watch the games. But, so will everybody else. Quote
