I was going through that site, and found this little bit on a different article:"In NFL action, the Bengals play host to San Francisco on Sunday. When the 49ers finish that game, they won't head back to the West Coast. Instead, the club will stay in Youngstown. Multiple sources are telling MyValleySports.com that San Francisco plans to use Youngstown State's facilities to practice. The team plays in Philadelphia the following Sunday and would prefer not to make the travel to the East Coast consecutive weeks."With the great facilities we have, why can't the 49ers use our facilities?

They are likely using Youngstown's Facilities because they are owned by Denise DeBartolo York and John York, The DeBartolos are from that area.

Alex is a great kid and helping out with my Fighting Irish... DeBartlo's are big in Youngstown, as is noted in the previous post. If they aren't using the stadium, they will be using the WATTS which is nearing completion, 98% complete. Worth noting the DeBartolo's joined Jim Tressel and Anthony Cafaro in donating to the $12 million facility: WATTSOutside.jpg

Great practice facilities are the kiss of death. The only thing worse is to build a great new stadium. Welcome to the abyss.

Looking at that great structure makes me wonder ................. exactly where in its concrete foundation are Jimmy Hoffa's body parts encased?

We aren't falling into the abyss here in Youngstown. Although we are probably a year away from competing for a conference/fcs crown, this year is a huge year for our program...I like you guys by 17 over VMI Saturday.
