Marquelo Suel and Juwan Chisolm are both available for the Ohio game and both will be at 100%. We expect both to be integral to the offense against Ohio and for the remainder of our schedule. Also...we received good news regarding Hazime...he will given a medical redshirt by the NCAA and is eligible to play next year. Go Zips and thanks for your support.

Oh yea...we are bringing back the golf outing next summer based on overwhelming support for the event.

Yea... I wish it were true. I believe Suel and Chisolm are our 2 best players. By the way...who recruited those 2 guys?? Hate to lose Hasime too. My biggest concern going into the year was injuries because we did not have great depth. But it should have been our O-line. They use that "Olay" style of blocking. We need a talent upgrade and more depth. The one good think about O-lines is that some of these guys could improve dramatically with time and teaching. Time will tell.

I believe Brian Wagner is our best player. WAY better than Suel or Chisholm. And Brookhart recruited him.

RECEIVING GP No. Yards Avg TD Long Avg/G

SCONIERS, Keith 6 25 439 17.6 4 51 73.2

RUSSELL, Antoin 6 9 153 17.0 0 45 25.5

PRICE, A.J. 6 8 130 16.2 1 44 21.7

SUEL, Marquelo 3 8 127 15.9 0 33 42.3

Mr. Suel shows signs but 3 games and 8 receptions are not enough to declare him one of the top two players on the team. Same goes for Chisolm though averaging 95 yards/game through 6 is pretty impressive. Wagner is by far our best player.

EDIT: Sconiers is no slouch either who recruited him? He signed in early January 2010. Does it matter?

Just watching Suel on the field and ignoring the numbers (which don't look great), I'll still say he is one of the top guys on offense.

I hope he gets back in there against Ohio. He makes LR8 better. IMO, Wags has a consistent body of work to prove he should be the "face of the zips" marketing focus.

Sconiers was originally a Brookhart recruit.

They give credit to Camp but he did sign in early 2010. He was definitely on the radar prior to Icoach. Either way it doesn't matter. Most of the guys playing right now ere JD recruits. We will be able to tell if Icoach is any good starting next year because I am sure he will be back. I do think Sconiers is as good as Suel. The Zips will be looking pretty good at receiver when Suel comes back. Not to add fuel to the fire but when have we had two or three receivers as talented as the group this year. Lefrance and Bowser were injured in previous years and the drop to the number 2 receiver was pretty dramatic. Let's see what Clayton can do with some pretty respectable weapons and support from the best running game we have had in years.

And they won a MAC title with Luke Getsy at the helm. He threw over 400 yards in the MAC Champ game.

We were sitting about halfway up in the lower bowl at Ford Field. I was running up and down the aisle. My GF who is not a football fan was screaming louder than I was. She bought me the 2005 MAC Championship hat that is safe in my closet.

Frisman Jackson recruited Suel. Flew out to California to meet him. I was there.
