johnnyzip84 Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Link I'm on the record for 4-8. Quote
InTheZone Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Wow, behind UMass, a 5-6 FCS team. Yep, Elton can go suck a big ole Kangaroo d---. GO ZIPS!!! Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 I wonder how much time EA has spent at Zips camp over the past few weeks? I'll guess "0." Quote
Kangaroo Craig Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 It's easy to just look at how they pretty much finished last year (With the exception of UMaSS) and go with that as your prediction. Like Cap'n said, he likely didn't see a single practice. Not only from us, but probably all of the schools. He's a media hack. Who cares what he thinks. It seems like every year these predictions are just a carbon copy (Or close to it) of how the teams finished the previous year. I would not be surprised if the Zips finished fourth in the MAC East. UMass will likely not win a single game and will not be competetive in any of their games including the one against us. THey are still and FCS team even with a Pagel at QB. Quote
Dr Z Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Who cares what he thinks.I don't care about his opinions at all. If he reports the correct time, date, and if the game will be broadcast, I would be happy. Quote
Zipsrifle Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 I remember his review of the stadium on opening day. He complained how unsightly the view was behind the east grandstand. Really!? The 20,000 people in the seats below you can't see that, only those in the pressbox. A sign of how disconnected from the fans he is. Quote

Was he the same idiot that "ranked" the MAC stadiums a few years ago? I remember an article where someone had Akron at like 3rd, behind CMU and Toledo I believe. I couldn't believe it. We have a stadium nicer than dozens of BCS schools, and easily the nicest in the MAC. All of the rest are glorified high school fields. Quote
Sergeant Zip Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 CFT predicts Akron 6th in MAC East. Terry Bowden makes his anticipated (is that the right word?) return to FBS football by taking over a program that flat-out stunk last season. Can the Zips get back on the winning side of things in 2012? No, but it’ll be good to have a Bowden back in the coaching ranks. Maybe. Quote
