Dave in Green
I've tried all the usual websites and none of them has live scoring for this game.
Sergeant Zip
Anyone have the link to Frenchy? Are they still on WARF? I'd be inclined to listen to that and keep my eye on this thread.I Heart radio for Fox Sport 1350 No French though Just his "sub"
Dave in Green
At least ESPN is showing the score -- Zips leading 28-23 with 3:01 left in the first half.
akzipper
Zips had a nice run going, then completely fell apart before the half. Lucky to still have the lead. Zips aren't getting any calls, missing easy shots inside the paint, and turning it over way too much.
Dave in Green
Zips up 34-31 at halftime. I haven't been listening on radio. Who's been running the point?
FromdaBurgh
Melo is running the point and has 5 turnovers. Really STUPID FRESHMAN mistakes! They are playing really sloppy...and you can definitely see the inexperience of our freshman. Hope they calm their nerves and come out more focused. For a minute there we couldn't BUY A BASKET...but I think we will be just fine. The freshman have to calm down and our vets have to get on top of their game. Okay...Harney and Tree aren't there..then that means our vets have to STEP IT UP and stop throwing wild shots up! Come on guys...you can handle this team! GP1
@ Dave Zeke looks ok in post. Doubled a lot. CCU is average at best. Zips wear them down with more players in second half and win easy. AA need to be careful of his paella consumption when on rehab.
FromdaBurgh
They can't do anything with Zeke in the post...but they are slow to get him the ball. Get the ball into him and he will either score or get fouled scoring and he is 4 for 4 from the line.
Quickzips
CCU is average at best. Zips wear them down with more players in second half and win easy. Zips are down 2 players and have a gimpy starting PG. Can't count on wearing them down with more players in that circumstance.
Dave in Green
Thanks. So Melo started and has played a lot of minutes, but Rico has played a little on his bum ankle?
Quickzips
Zips are too in love with the 3 ball right now. I know we don't have Tree and Harney, but we still have Zeke, Forsythe and a host of guys who can penetrate and score.
GP1
Thanks. So Melo started and has played a lot of minutes, but Rico has played a little on his bum ankle? Yes. AA doing ok. Not limping. Needs some conditioning. A little chubby. Pp
akzipper
This may be the most embarrassing loss I can ever remember by the Zips
Quickzips
Zips on the verge of losing their chance at an at-large bid one game in. Digusting. Stop shooting so many damn 3 balls and pound these guys inside.

Quickzips
Are we this reliant on Tree and Harney? I understand that is both of our experienced PFs but my god. Jake Kretzer seems like the only guy who got off the bus ready to play tonight, at least on the offensive end.

zipsfan13
Down by 5 with under 3 minutes to go in the game.
Gcc
score? 61-56 CCU. 2:
Quickzips
score? CCU +5 with under 3 to go. Zips pissing their pants like they always do in these games early in the year. See you guys in March at the Q. Apparently that is all that matters.
Valpo Zip
Are we this reliant on Tree and Harney? Nah...but they're the only excuse we can use now.
ZipGrad93
Terrible, terrible, uninspired basketball. The veterans really let this team down. Given the circumstances with Harney and Tree, they needed to step up and take control of the game; instead they're taking bad shots and making stupid turnovers. Kretzer looks great, Zeke has played well, otherwise, this has been a horrible performance.
akzipper
Embarrassing, can't blame anyone but themselves.
UAZip0510
No Diggs, no Tree, no Harney, Abreu less than 100%...
Captain Kangaroo
Going on the road against a quality opponent without Diggs, Treadwell and Harney ain't a good thing.
