Bowden didn't get rid of Nicely or Moore, huh? Coulda' fooled me.

If Pohl is as good a QB as Williams, of course he'll have similar numbers. That isn't and Jean Dixon-esque prediction, and taking it to the bank will only get you a stupid look from the bank teller.

The reason Williams was a back up in 1-AA was - the guy in front of him was better. If Williams were at UA for those 3 previous seasons, he'd have been a starter at the 1-A level. His logistical circumstances don't dictate is ability.

Weeden is from OK State, isn't he a starting NFL QB? Cincinnati Bengal starting QB Andy Dalton...a "system QB" at TCU, right? Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert, starting NFL QB, right? Your broad brush is lacking paint.

Pretty sure Nicely and Moore each transferred on their own terms. Bowden didnt "get rid" of anybody.

Williams isnt that good. The coaches will admit that Pohl is more talented. The reason Williams was the starter is because of his leadership and prior understanding of the system. Keyword, "system".Williams would have started over Jacquemain? Give me a break.

Weeden is shit, as is Gabbert. They are starting because the teams dont have anyone better. Though Chad Henne looked a hell of a lot better last week than Gabbert has all year. Not sure why you bring Dalton up. I have never said anything about TCU producing system QBs.

I really dont understand how hard it is to see that a QB who throws 47+ times per game is going to put up decent numbers.

Clayton Moore threw the ball 25.75 times per game last year.

Williams has thrown the ball 47.09 (2nd in NCAA) times per game this season.

Looking at that, Williams SHOULD have approximately double the stats Moore had last year.

77th in Total rating. Behind Denard Robinson lol

An even better stat, Williams is leading the NCAA in interceptions this year. He is so good

Take your blinders off, he is nothing special.

He could have thrown more, but he didn't pick up first downs, so he didn't have a chance. If he did, they would have been batted down at the line, or sailed over Suels head, or fluttered at someones feet.

I could say Williams could have thrown more TDs if he wasnt busy throwing so many interceptions, but I wont.

You guys can keep being hypothetical, Ill keep using facts.
