Dave in Green
OK, seriously now, Jordan Lynch already has 160 yards rushing in this game to go along with his 169 yards passing. So this is the 11th straight game in which Lynch has rushed for more than 100 yards, extending his NCAA QB record for consecutive 100+ yard rushing games. If I'm a bowl official at this game, I'm thinking I like the idea of promoting Lynch as a big draw for my bowl game. He's a legit Heisman candidate even if he has no chance of winning it. johnnyzip84
It's not over just yet. Some questionable, overly conservative play calls by NIU past midfield will haunt the Huskies if K.E.N.T. somehow pulls a rabbit out of the hat. Dave in Green
Danger! Danger! Warm up the black helicopter. Can't scores to close within 7 points with nearly 5 minutes left.

Blue & Gold
Pressure's back on NIU & Jordan Lynch. He looked tight to begin the game. We'll see how he responds.
Dave in Green
Time for Lynch to work on those Heisman credentials.
akzipper
Can't has all the momentum. I'd be very surprised if NIU is able to win this game now. Too bad that didn't return that fumble 100 yards in the wrong direction again...

skip-zip
How does Portage County keep getting so lucky? Two TDs off of fumble recoveries in one game? When they are getting dominated? Unbelievable.

Dave in Green
1. Can they score a TD? 2. If they do, will they go for 2? 3. Who do you like in OT?
johnnyzip84
Welcome to the Marathon MAC Championship Marathon! From what I've seen from Hazell, I'll bet he goes for 2. Edit : I lose!
Dave in Green
When a team does just enough to get the job done game after game, they're running on borrowed time. For Can't, time will either run out tonight or in a bowl game.

Dave in Green
Black helicopter theory down in flames. The golden opportunity was to call Can't short of the first down.
johnnyzip84
Both coaches have left themselves open for some 2nd guessing. It's hard to get a gage on which team is in control right now. A turnover might decide it.

K92
And a closing shot of Roosevelt Nix doing his Michael Porrini impersonation. Nice.
