PB1719
Now it's time for the football team to go on a 19 game winning streak!
GoZips88
KD just said they will be flying to Buffalo for Saturday's game to help with the quick turnaround needed for the game on Tuesday. French: "Really?" KD: "Yeah, that's what big-time programs do Steve." Love it!

ksu sucks
Fantastic game. Your team is so good. Congrats and enjoy. JSF, you are an absolute class act. I don't sense any of the snark or insecurity that seems common amongst many OU fans. Great game, and I look forward to another match up in March. Dave in Green
OT without Zeke, and no substitutions were made. Kretzer (freshman), Tree (sophomore), Harney (sophomore), Abreu (junior) and Walsh (senior) played the whole 5 minutes and dominated play against a really tough team in a really tough environment. Tree played 40 minutes, led the Zips with 21 points and hit 7-8 free throws after his 3-11 free throw performance in the previous game. I'd say he more than made up for his brief distraction in the first half.
akzipper
Now it's time for the football team to go on a 19 game winning streak! That would take us 19 years. We can enjoy this game for now. I'll bring up the "letdown" game and so on later.

ksu sucks
I agree with his post except the looking forward to game 3. I can't take another one. Frankly, I'm not too worried. We handled them at home and beat them in OT in front of 12,000 people who absolutely hate our guts. I really, really, like our chances in a neutral court. French: "Really?" KD: "Yeah, that's what big-time programs do Steve." Love it! Is it normal to travel on a game day like that? Seems like it would be smarter to fly to Buffalo on Friday and fly back on Saturday.

acstorfer
That would take us 19 years. Thankfully I wasn't drinking milk when I read this! The milk would have sprayed six feet out of my nose!!
phil
What a great game. This team really plays well in clutch time. This is amazing! Tree seems to get stronger at the end of the game. He also made his foul shots tonight. I thought the refs were terrible on the walking calls against the Zips. Baltic moved his feet all over the floor and no call. Alex never changes his pivot foot. They called at least 4 terrible walks against the Zips. Kreitzer had a great game. How does a freshman play that big in a big game.

Seems like it would be smarter to fly to Buffalo on Friday and fly back on Saturday. They probably are flying up the day before and I simply misquoted KD. The fact of the matter is they are flying up instead of riding the bus and that's pretty cool. I did my best to catch what KD said - sorry about that. LZIp
I was critical in the first half, but we may have played our best second half this season!! Props to Tree and Abreu for turning it around; proud of them. S/O to the classy OU fans (students I assume) for throwing items onto the court 3 different times during the game. Classy. #OnToTheNext. @Buffalo scares me more than Can't State at home.

I still stand by my disappointment with him giving up a couple times defensively in the first half, but I was extremely impressed with his FT shooting tonight. To knock down 7-9 in a hostile environment in the biggest game of his young career says a lot for a 50% FT shooter. Mad props to Tree. skip-zip
F-U OU You guys were the beneficiaries of two of the worst traveling calls I have ever seen, and the worst game ending out-of-bounds call I have ever seen, and you STILL couldn't win with an 18 point lead. Treadwell's free throw shooting and Kretzer's Triples were the story of the 2nd half. Still can't figure out why both Walsh and Treadwell were standing under the basket at the end of regulation, and watched the shot instead of blocking out the only guy who could tip it in. But, who's complaining? What a great night!!
skip-zip
We better break the AP 25 Unfortunately, we still need to play and win again before the next poll comes out.
