Hilltopper
The dreaded let-down game... My feelings are the same as they were for the OU game. Do I expect us to win? Yes. Would I be shocked and appalled if we suffer a letdown after the emotional win on Wednesday? No. I'm slightly concerned about KD's "flying the kids into Buffalo because that's what big programs do" because sometimes that gives kids the big egos and the "we have the right to beat you" mentality but the way the Zips fought against OU on Wednesday makes me think that they're aware of what they need to do and avoid. They seem to have the attitude that they're expecting everyone's best shot now as opposed to 3 weeks ago when they were squeaking out Ws against Miami on the road. 65-56 Zips. Flying makes sense to me.
LZIp
This game definitely scares me, and I would bet they are worn out. Zeke tweeted the other day saying he was "mentally and physically exhausted". I figure the whole team in after that game. I still have confidence that we will come away with the W. UB lost a tough one on the road and figures that it can salvage a down year by being the team to put a 1 in the Zips' L column.

Dave in Green
The Kitties were also mentally and physically exhausted after Wednesday's game. It hasn't stopped them from cruising to a 39-33 halftime score at Bowling Green. The Zips will have to show they can bounce back quickly from tough games if they want to make a run in the tournament. Dr Z
The Zips are 6.5 point favorites.Hopefully they are not flying there to win by 6. The way UB shot the ball last game against UA, I would drop the gloves the second the puck hit the ice. Whatever the equivalent to that is in college basketball now a days, do it (not actual fighting).

I agree with your last sentence. But OU is now losing, it definitely has an effect.

UAZips
For those watching the polls, #20 Butler is down almost 30 to VCU.
originalrowdy
We look tired in the early going. Other than Tree, we appear slow.
bUAkronG
whole team seems nervous to start. But Buffalo shooting well. that won't continue. starting with lots of turnovers.
bUAkronG
Buffalo swatting everything inside. And shooting 50% from deep.
bUAkronG
I'm having a monologue here. Where is everyone? Bulls with 5 blocks in the first half.
akronzips71
We have seen this before. They will not keep dropping threes like they were lay ups. They will tire. We will pull away in the second half and put it away wit about 8 minutes to go.

phil
We need Harney and Walsh to more involved. They are double teaming Zeke and Tree. Forsythe is really struggling. Could not finish a dunk and could not make the foul shots. We need help from the bench players. This is not an easy game. Buffalo is handling our zone much better than last time. Valpo Zip
Buffalo can't keep shooting that well from behind the arc, can they? Also, why aren't we pressing full court. Buffalo is not that deep. We can wear them out.
ksu sucks
Buffalo wants this, especially McCrae. They won't keep shooting this well, but the battle in the paint might decide this one. Buffalo is liable to turn it over more in the second half. If we capitalize on that and take care of the ball I like our chances. The bulls need hot shooting and McCrae for another 20 minutes. Fatigue may very well prevent both.
bigzipguy
The Bulls are ready to end our streak. They will not wear down. We have to take it to them!!

phil
Walsh for 3. Ibitayo on a fast break for 2 and maybe 3. We need everyone to step up. We cannot rely on Tree and Zeke to do it all

Big Zip
Pretty stubborn not to switch to zone. They burnt us at home when we played man then we played zone to stop them.
