I thought Lyndon Banes Johnson was dead. That is who "LBJ" represents. "Bron" is part of LeBron's first name and not his middle name. His initials are LJ not LBJ. He and I had lunch together the other day and he told me that he hates it when people refer to him as "LBJ".

Not sure why any of you care or why this piece of garbage traitor is a topic on Zipsnation. Let him take his talents and his camps to Miami or Vegas or anyplace he desires. The farther away the better as far as I am concerned.

His camp not returning to UA when he said it would is certainly related to UA, IMO.

And the exhibition of the loser culture of Cleveland sports fans goes on, and on, and on.

Yeah, it's only Cleveland sports fans. I could post a ton of reactions from Lakers fans on their feelings of Dwight leaving them, but the content wouldnt be appropriate for this site. Do the Lakers have a losing culture as well?

Get a life and quit being so concerned with who somebody roots for.

Doesn't matter what some sources say. Correct English and grammar still reigns above trendy fake lingo, Just like the name Xavior is pronounced Zavior and not Exavior. Stop the phonieness.

Just like an Elvis impersonator... and no one ever landed on the moon... and the holocaust never existed. Nice fake picture

And, by the way...BOOM!

Exactly my point.

^^ Its photo shopped, obviously. I want Pat to let me know what it is that he is smoking. I want to have imaginary lunches with LBJ, too.

The NCAA does not allow AAU tournaments nor camps like Mr. Jame's to be held on a D1 campus; they felt it gave host universities a recruiting edge. From everything I've read this relocation was not Mr. Jame's doing.

Still can't believe all of you who continue to put the guy down for being manipulated by a TV network & the signer of his biggest endorsement check. He is as unselfish a superstar as I've ever seen. The move was to give himself a chance to win.

How many years did Cleveland fail to do so? Time to get over it and enjoy watching an all time great. BTW, what does he owe UA? Many of you want the guy to support an institution he never attended nor played for. Why? Believe me when I say I hope he'd like to contribute to a new basketball arena so KD could recruit even better but to be honest, why should he?

Has anyone ever changed their mind on LBJ, or is everyone locked into their position forever?
It bothered me the way LBJ left the Cavs, but once he admitted it was a mistake the way he left, I'm okay with him again. If that counts for "changing ones mind", then yes. I would still like him to come back to the Cavs. The NBA was fun for me when he was in Cleveland. I would like LBJ a lot more if he substantially (financially) steps up for UA basketball. I could also learn to dislike him again if pulls a Hernandez though.

Edit: One more thing, if he ever returns to the Cavs after that ignorant comic sans email that Gilbert sent out after "the decision," LBJ is a bigger man than me (probably true even if he doesn't).

Mine has softened. The way he left Cleveland (not that he left, but the way he did it) was pretty moronic. I believe he understands that now and regrets it. My guess is if he watched the video of The Decision with his children, he would say it isn't a proper way to conduct oneself. He has publicly admitted he was wrong for doing it. The only time I ever think about the guy is when he is mentioned on this board or there is a game on with him in it.

Positions I will never change my mind about as it relates to LBJ are as follows:

1. He is one of the greatest basketball players I have ever seen.

2. I believe contrary to the popular meme in Cleveland that he "quit". Nonsense...He never cheated the fans of Cleveland out of a dime.

3. I wish the NBA wasn't such a bad product because I would watch more just to watch him play.

Pretty much sums up my feelings too. Especially the edit!
