zipdoll Posted August 6, 2013 Report Posted August 6, 2013 Again, another concert by default...nothing done by the university to encourage it. We are just another public venue that has very little to do with student needs and wants. It will no doubt fill up, but such is not the point. There is no UA spirit and student enthusiasm to these once in a blue moon phony UA events. http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/05004B02...c=EML_LN_115857 Quote

akzipper Posted August 6, 2013 Report Posted August 6, 2013 Yeah...I don't think UA students would go see this Brian Wilson, nor do I believe any of them would even know who he is. Quote
bandzip Posted August 6, 2013 Report Posted August 6, 2013 It will no doubt fill up, but such is not the point. uhhh... what? "It will sell out and make the University money but it's stupid." Quote
Dave in Green Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 zipdoll = pat? Pat may have joined Jake in the retirement home for burned-out screen names. Quote
Z.I.P. Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 Yeah...I don't think UA students would go see this Brian Wilson, nor do I believe any of them would even know who he is. I hear he was friends with Charlie Manson. Quote
zipdoll Posted August 7, 2013 Author Report Posted August 7, 2013 uhhh... what? "It will sell out and make the University money but it's stupid." It will sell out and make Live Nation money not the University. UA does not have a relationship with Live Nation other than renting them their facility. Thomas Hall does not co-sponser these events like The Civic does. Quote
