Dr Z
I guess this was one of the games coach was speaking about when he said in the progression of the progrum, you start to win the close games late. So I'm sticking with that line for this game. Offensive line needs more practice. JMU was a well coached team, except for the clock management, which is a huge part of close games. If you don't think you can be well coached and be terrible at clock management, see Bill Cowher years before Ben. I'm still waiting on the young receivers to get more snaps for some exciting yac. Funniest line of the game, after we failed to field the kickoff following the failed two point conversion (another questionable coaching decision), fan behind me yells We need to clean up a lot, if we plan on competing in Ann Arbor. Buckzip
Most of the defensive struggles were with Rizzo in at LB. He was exploited time and time again. Mizzell needs to be in the game instead of him immediately. Rizzo?
MDZip
Rizzo? Think he meant Rossi. Rizzo was an offensive lineman.
ZachTheZip
Akron should be a four win team. Lafayette is now 0-2 with blowout loses against a couple of average to below average BCS schools in Arkansas and Kansas State. We are bad, but we aren't that bad and we should beat them at home. No excuses to lose this one. If we should beat Lafayette, then we should also beat Can't State and Ohio. All three games are at home, and all three teams are at a similar level. Buckzip
Think he meant Rossi. Rizzo was an offensive lineman. I thought so, just messing with him. I wasn't sure if he meant Rizzo the OL or Rizzo the skank from Grease.
Sergeant Zip
According to Jerrod Dillard, on twitter, Keith Sconiers is having surgery. He doesn't say what kind but obviously he won't be playing tomorrow. https://twitter.com/mooniedillard/status/376082142494998528Sconiers is out for the season. Zipmeister
Sconiers is out for the season. Interesting stats on your link. How does one attempt a half of a pass?
EnglishMA1996
James Madison would of defeated Liberty by at least 20, who only loss to K.e.n.t. by 7. We will beat K.e.n.t. this year. I don't understand why everyone on here still thinks we're going to lose to them this season. We should of defeated them last year. Can't is not good. Zips will beat them soundly.
