Thank you ESPN 3

I'm actually pretty grateful for ESPN 3. I really didn't expect more than 2, maybe 3 wins this season. If they go onefer, what can you do? They're still my team.

Anyway, thank you ESPN 3 for allowing me to watch today's Akron vs. Ohio game. All it took was my iPhone mirrored into AppleTV to be sick to my stomach by halftime.

Again, thank you ESPN 3.

Oh, what the Hell? Akron can buy Super Bowl commercials every year, but they can't put one on ESPN the tres? Seriously, every commercial break had to be an Ohio Bobcat commercial? Well every commercial was replayed for every commercial break (just about).

Well, I get three more ESPN 3 games this year. Here's hoping for the best :).

I agree. I do the same at home. I took a fall camping trip this weekend in the Allegheny mountains with friends. There happens to be this podunk bar/restaurant near. I took an hour out of weekend and watched the game there for a spell. Gist being, as long as you have your iPhone, you can pretty much watch the Zips anywhere. Now the Zips need to make it worth it.

Sometimes ESPN3 can run slow, but for the most part it has worked well for me. I would recommend buying a Google Chromecast to stream to TV. Very cheap ($35) and plugs into any HDMI. Can stream directly from any Chrome browser window on any computer. You can also stream from any smartphone, but ESPN isn't supported yet...

Pretty good announcers today for the UA-NIU game. I don't know if I've ever seen / listened to these guys before, but they definitely did their homework for both teams.

I know that being objective / prepared is in their job descriptions, but this really could have turned into a Lynch lovefest.

MAC, CBS Sports Net TV sign deal for football, basketball games beginning this season.

The MAC and CBS Sports Network have reached a multi-year deal to televise football and basketball games beginning this season and running through 2018-19. This is done through a sub-license agreement with ESPN. CBS Sports Network will air up to 12 football and 12 basketball games per year. This upcoming season will have six football games and up to seven basketball games. This season's football games will include two on Thursday, three Saturday and one the Friday after Thanksgiving.

The real question is, does this mean more games in total televised or the same, but less on ESPN and more on CBS sports?

Anyways, it looks like ESPN is making out on the deal. They are getting paid to not show our games!

If this was in the works and was responsible, or even partly responsible for Zips Football only having 1 weekday game (the day after Thanksgiving) in 2015, then THANK YOU CBS Sports Network.
