Dave in Green Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 Wow. Just when you think the scoring is over. Goodbye 70. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 NIU 48 BSU 23 Not too shabby. Quote
K92 Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 Not too shabby. I got the point spread right. Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 Kudos to both the Cap'n and K92 The better defense stepped up. NIU still has UT in front of them in the NEXT MAC game of the year. BTW, what in the world happened in the 2nd half of the U@B/UT game the other night? I quit watching after Reedy burned the Bulls on UT's 1st possession of the 2nd half to give the Rockets a 38-0 lead, only to wake up and see a 51-41 final score: MACtion at it's finest. Quote
GP1 Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 Absolutely fantastic college football game. Not the runaway the score makes it look. NIU beat a really good team and is clearly the class of the league. Quote
Hilltopper Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 The turning point of the game was the third down play where BSU had Lynch for what appeared to be a sack and he broke the tackle and scrambled for a first down. The following touchdown put NIU ahead and BSU was never able to regain the lead. Lynch is a great talent but I'm still not sure he is an NFL QB. Quote
Dr Z Posted November 14, 2013 Author Report Posted November 14, 2013 Lynch was awesome. Interesting that Akron's defense played better against Jordan than BSU. Thanks for not kneeling on it Rod. Playstation-type stats Quote
