Lee Adams
Went to the Toledo game and was told I could not sit in the seats where I have season tickets. No reason given. They jammed everyone into a small section in the upper deck. Didn't bother to clean off any of the other seats on the east side, upper. Couldn't have been for safety reasons because the entire upper deck had been covered in snow. Also noticed they hadn't bothered to clean the restrooms after the high school game last weekend. There was crap all over the seats and on the floors of some of the stalls. Good thing they won.

Zipsrifle
The seating arrangement was probably the result of multiple people slipping and falling and being injured at the Turkey day game in a Rubber Bowl covered with snow in 2005. No excuse for the bathrooms.
skip-zip
It's crazy that they didn't bother to clean off most of the seats, since they will need to do it today with a big high school playoff game coming to town.
Lee Adams
Yeah, it really sucks when they make you sit in those high priced 50 yard line seats. Problem was 'those high priced 50 yard line seats' were pretty much full. And they were only a few rows in front of where we normally sit. We paid to sit where we wanted to sit,not where somebody told us to sit. But thanks for the input.
Dr Z
Ticket guys did a nice job informing us that our section was closed. The section right next to it was open. The view was similar.

Agreed. That's the one thing that made no sense to me at all.
Dave in Green
Just guessing here, but maybe UA didn't bring in employees to clean all the seats prior to the Zips game because they wanted them to enjoy Thanksgiving with their families, and they knew the crowd would be small on Black Friday. Maybe the staff showed up Friday morning early enough to clean off enough seats for the crowd expected for the Zips game, and then stayed after the game to clean off more seats for Saturday's HS game. Again, just speculation on my part.

Those "big high school games" generally bring in around 10,000 less fans than the Zips games. I think they'll be fine.
K92
They could have had a promotion, "Free snow shovel to the first 500 fans". Problem solved.
MaxZIP
I actually enjoyed the condensed seating. I was on the east side amongst all of the toledo fans. It was nice to hear them complain and enjoyed taunting them with the other zips fans in the area. THe condensed seating plan actually made me feel like I was at a college football game. Great time! If the HS game draws 10,000 less than we drew yesterday, they would be in big-time negative numbers. It's the Reg. Final game in Div. 1 between St. Ed's and Mentor. Not just some random high school game.

This is an exaggeration, but I get it. The St. Ed's -vs- Mentor game at the Info is on t.v. right now and there aren't many more people there than were at the Zips' game. zipsfan33
My section (212, row 1) was closed. They asked me and my group to move into the reserved section (210?) so we did until the usher came and said sorry move elsewhere someone has these seats. We went to Guest services to complain and they comped us club seats! We were a lot further away from the action than we are used to , but it was a fun time! Lee Adams
Now that's what I call customer service. They did the right thing. This is how you build a fan base. Disagree. They were too lazy to clean the restrooms and the sections where many season ticket holders sit. We were not given any info. regarding why they didn't bother to allow us to sit in our season ticket seats or what to do if we had a complaint. It was obvious they didn't want to spend the resources to clean up any more seating areas or the restrooms. And, obviously they weren't going to volunteer any information. We shouldn't have to complain about this kind of stuff at the last game of the season with the temp in the 30's and probably only 7000 or 8000 if that in the place. They want the money from season tickets but then do crap like this. They spent more time getting the place ready for the St. Ed's-Mentor game. And, then during the season they do 'giveaways' on tickets but don't give season ticket holders any breaks on pricing. I buy seasons to support the program. I could pay less and get GA seats in essentially the same location on the other side of the field. The east side upper is essentially empty for many games. I contacted the AD's office and some others about this. Waiting.
LZIp
I never thought I'd see so much complaining about such a minor inconvenience.
