I am curious to know where does Tree rank in the list of the highest scorers. Is there a data base where we can look up historical statistics?

Tree is almost a lock for an all-time top 10 Zips scorer and possibly top 5. He even has a shot at joining the all-time top 5 Zips in both scoring and rebounding. StatSheet.com shows Tree currently with 663 career rebounds. If he continues at his current rate through the end of next season, he could have 1,000+ career rebounds and even pass the great Len Paul for #5 on the top 10 career rebounding list:

Romeo Travis (7th All-Time Zips Scoring) finished his 3rd year with 1,013 points. Treadwell has 1,018 with 1 regular season game left in his third season. Tree is on pace to be the highest scorer of the KD Era.

It's cool to look at this list.

For instance, I would have never guessed that Shawn Roberts and George Phillips were that high on the list.

And I thought that Mark Alberts would actually be higher on the list.

I agree. Like most stats, they are skewed by variables. They don't take into account the level of competition that each faced, or offensive, or defensive philosophies. Can you imagine Jimmal (or others) playing in the MAC the last four years, or Tarver (or others) playing in today's offensive philosophy? I would venture to guess the numbers would be a tad different. But it's still always fun to dream. I hope Tree ends up being number one on the list.

@Dr Z, good point about stats. They start off as raw numbers and require interpretation to be more meaningful. It's similar to watching games. We see pretty much the same raw visual images and then have to interpret what we've seen. It's generally in the interpretations where we tend to reach different conclusions based on our different viewpoints.

@ZipsBurgh, good question about the seniors. Tree and Nick are considered athletic seniors only by NCAA regulation even though they may qualify for another year of eligibility. If their intention is to return next season and they meet all NCAA academic standards, they technically become fifth year seniors. I believe that they will not be among those honored on this senior night due to the likelihood that they will be fifth year seniors next season.
