Dr Z
Who's ready for the greatest sporting event in the world? Here is a look at all 68 teams in the field.MID-MAJOR DANGERWe weren't joking about the number of viable mid-major upset threats in the bracket. They're everywhere. Let's scout them:Western Michigan (59): The Broncos turn the ball over all the time, but it's worth fearing any team that handled MAC favorite and onetime at-large hopeful Toledo so effortlessly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Here's a look at one time Zip coach Shaka Smart's VCU Rams. They are my adopted team in the tourney along with any other Mac team. Shaka Smart’s program has shown poise in navigating through the rigorous A-10 schedule, which the Rams successfully did with only four defeats and a second-place finish in the competitive league. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you think your winning Warren Buffet's billion dollars, your not. Don't waste your time. Chances are one in 9 quintillion.
Balsy
Actually the odds are better than a quintillion. The quintillion calculation is based on if you randomly picked the teams. With a little bit of basketball knowledge it's in the billions. (IE, 1 seeds over 16 seeds...etc).
Dr Z
Stainbrook's nineteen points is not enough to advance Xavier to the same round as Western Michigan.
GP1
Some guy on ESPN just made fun of something I made fun of last year. Why do all of the NCAA Tournament courts have to look the same?
Dr Z
Great place to watch all the games. They also have an iOS and Android (I think) app. Looking forward to the Dayton game today. It's a little different from Dayton's perspective, in what Miller referred to as a ''big brother-little brother'' relationship between his Atlantic 10 Conference school and a Big Ten powerhouse. Dr Z
Western starting off the same way they did against the Zips.
Balsy
OSU losses to Dayton     Now why can't we ever play the "sacred" OSU? After that embarrassing loss to the ugly "little-sister of the poor" Dayton, they'll probably never want to play an instate school again. Dr Z
OSU losses to Dayton I sure like to watch Craft play, it's a shame he is out of the tourney. Dayton fought hard and hit free throws. Would it not be odd to see WMU/Cuse 17-34 at half?
MDZip
Rick Pitino unhappy because he has to coach against a former assistant in the first round. Great idea Rick, they should have made that a rule last year, I'm sure that should be the first thing on a committee's mind - he said maybe they were a bunch of soccer AD's. God, that guy whines. Love the zone D. I have said it for years, I would absolutely run the zone at UA. Been saying it for more than a decade.

ZachTheZip
No real upsets so far. Just some undervalued teams beating overvalued ones.

Dave in Green
Nice work by the #16 seeded Albany Great Danes (19-15) to play even with #1 Florida for most of the game, holding a 39-39 tie with 14 minutes left in the game before losing by 12. Dr Z
NC state's epic meltdown is the only thing between me and my billion dollarsCrazy game, sucks for you. Nice calls on the Dayton, Harvard, and ND state. Games were awesome yesterday. Didn't like any lines yesterday, but lots of good betting games today IMO. How awesome is it to be able to watch 4 games at once? Sports heaven. Love, love, love the NCAA tourney. The older I get, the less I like the SB, and the more I like the tourney. Way more bang for your buck...action packed. Only one thing missing. Good luck to everyone today on their brackets. Go Shaka, beat them Lumberjacks! Next year, I'll start a ZipsNation group on ESPN.com.

Save for opening day, maybe. How about the stretch last night of UConn, NC State ND State going to OT, capped off with the Texas buzzer beater? Was a great night to work late and make use of the new 60" in the conference room
Buckzip
Strange start to the tourney A lot of upsets. I think that is a good thing. It is nice to see new blood. Too bad UA can't be some of it.
