Dave in Green
The former CSU running back who averaged 5.5 yards per carry during his two seasons with the Rams announced Friday that he'll finish his college career at Akron. Sounds good to me.
Balsy
Another good get for the coaches. He was a redshirt freshman in 2012.

ZippyFan
once again I ask the question " how many RB's do we have on scholarship?". Unless this kid is unbelievable this get is a waste of a good scholarship. It wont be long before we have more running backs on scholarship then lineman or DB's. What is going on? What is going on?Six on the roster right now, and assuming he sits out a year, he'll come in right as Chisholm graduates. And it's not a waste of a scholarship to bring in a senior RB who played well in the MWC and can catch the ball when needed. I don't see him as a primary back, but Bowden's offense requires three RBs and he'll fit in nicely.
UA1987
He needs us and we'll need him next year. I hope it works out. Risky, but until we can recruit a guy that is going to be our feature back in the future years, we need to fill up our roster with players to try. They all have something to give and it can happen that an athlete learns what he needs to do to be the one. If we win enough this year, and go to a bowl, I believe our feature back with big play potential will be sucessfully recruited for 2015, but he'll most likely not be ready to play as true freshman. Captain Kangaroo
Awesome pick up by the Zips. I am shocked that there is even one iota of doubt about it.As solid-yet-unspectacular as Chisholm is, there's been no one I've seen with the ability to fill his shoes. Now we have one. Hopefully one of the young new guys steps up this summer to be our #2 man.Kennedy-Biggs. Hendry-Payne-Gray. We have nothing like those tandems in 2014. At least that I've seen. The summer will reveal a lot.
Dave in Green
... I am shocked that there is even one iota of doubt about it. ...Captain, I am shocked that you are shocked by anything that appears on ZN.o. You remind me so much of one of my favorite parts of the great classic movie, Casablanca:Rick: How can you close me up? On what grounds?Captain Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here![a croupier hands Renault a pile of money]Croupier: Your winnings, sir.Captain Renault: [sotto voce] Oh, thank you very much.[aloud]Captain Renault: Everybody out at once! Dave in Green
Yep, that Derrick Thomas. Donnell not only had some of his father's physical abilities in HS, he also had a 3.2 GPA. He was on the radar of a lot of big schools:Some of the programs that made preliminary contact with Alexander included Alabama, Arkansas, Nebraska, Miami, Utah, Kansas State and Iowa, according to Meyer and CSU spokesman Zak Gilbert. Balsy
I've been having the dream in my head of an undefeated regular season under Terry Bowden. Perhaps with Pohl as a senior QB and fantastic RB Thomas (with a host of supporting backs)?
