LZIp
I'm going to go with Pitt 24-14. Connor scores two and Boyd gets behind us deep for another. Pohl gets two TDs against their green secondary.

However given the track record of Pitt the last few years, i not sure which Pitt team shows up

Balsy
Connor goes off the field limping. Hope he's okay, but makes Pitt go 3 and out.
Balsy
Shouldn't the punt recovery be a TD for the Zips?
ZippyRulz
Opponents are going to start inviting & escorting us to the red zone...
Zipmeister
No-one has made any score predictions yet? I'll start it off: The Zips, sporting their chrome-gold helmets with the black Z (IMO if it was about branding, they should have had these for the Penn St game...), surprise everyone and come back from the blow-out last weekend with a competitive game against the Pittsburgh Panthers. Pohl throws a handful of touchtowns to silence the critics on ZN, Chisholm/Hundley and Co move the ball well enough to keep the Zips in the game. And the most surprising feat of the day is that the Zips pull off the win.Akron 27Pittsburgh 24There must be something wrong with my computer; the black Zs on the chrome helmets look blue on my screen.

Maybe it's something wrong with both of our screens. Or...

ZippyRulz
Plenty of mistakes but have to be happy to be tied at the half after last week's debacle. UP appears to be in danger of not covering the spread
LZIp
it amazes me how incompetent the coaching staff is with managing the clock with as much experience as they have.

GP1
it amazes me how incompetent the coaching staff is with managing the clock with as much experience as they have. What would you have done different? Personally, I wouldn't have 5' 6" players in the game who might need to fight to get out of bounds.
LZIp
I agree, but the call on the field was the wrong call. He looked out-of-bounds to me.before getting drove back? That would be the key issue. If your forward progress is stopped before going out of bounds, the clock doesnt stop. Regardless, coaching staff/players need to know that the clock was running. I mean chances are we would have missed the FG by about 20 yards, but there still would have been a chance.
Balsy
Now that I get a better look at the Z. It totally is Black. Something about the glare makes it look blue.
