What would you have done different? Personally, I wouldn't have 5' 6" players in the game who might need to fight to get out of bounds.

I would have ran up to the line and spiked the ball. They had about 10 seconds to do it.

What a game plan. Looks like coach Bowden may have got some word from this forum calling for Hundley to be to the go to guy. Defense played outstanding.

GP1- good predictions leading up to the game this week. Hope your wife was watching with you.

Well the experts did predict a big day for Conn(e)(o)r. They just didn't get the right one. How about the day from DeAndre Scott and Zach Paul? Zips could get offensive, defensive and special teams players of the week (and if Scott's pick 6 had counted, I think they would). Heck of a day.

+1. However, the coaches should get a LOT of credit for this one. The coaching staff was able to turn lemons of the defeat last week, into lemonade this week against Pitt.

All offseason I said that I thought Marshall was our toughest non-conference opponent and that I thought we'd match up best with (other than Howard) Pitt because I thought they'd be power run oriented and that we'd have an extremely solid run defense. Now, after the Marshall game, I am quite a bit more concerned with our run defense. I hope Marshall just had us off balance and out of our comfort zone with their play calling and that my intial thoughts turn out to be fairly accurate concerning this game.

I really need to learn to stay with my initial impressions sometimes instead of overthinking things sometimes.

Hopefully the bigger win today is what Akron does in recruiting......should be a lot more welcome to go in to those homes with a Pitt W on the burner.
