LZIp Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 What would you have done different? Personally, I wouldn't have 5' 6" players in the game who might need to fight to get out of bounds.I would have ran up to the line and spiked the ball. They had about 10 seconds to do it. Quote
Balsy Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Hundley, Hundley, Hundley. How long have I been saying that I like him over Chisholm. Quote
MontrealExposloveZippy Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Les go boys!! Quote
Jrship35 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Cody Grice on the 1yd dive !!!!! Quote
K92 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I love it when Conor "Feature Back" Hundley proves me wrong. Awesome job. Keep it up! Quote
ZippyRulz Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 GRICE again...can we get a hat trick? Quote
Balsy Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 C'mon defense. Let's get a good stance here! Quote
zen Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Was about to complain about taking the lead and putting on soft coverage thereby blowing it, but perhaps I was wrong. Maybe they were hunting the ball. Interception. Quote
lance99 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Interception by Akron.Game over? Quote
Balsy Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 It was about time for a Jawon Chisholm fumble. Quote
ZippyRulz Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Finally getting some blitzes. Quote
LZIp Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 What a game plan. Looks like coach Bowden may have got some word from this forum calling for Hundley to be to the go to guy. Defense played outstanding.GP1- good predictions leading up to the game this week. Hope your wife was watching with you.Go Zips!!! Quote
Jrship35 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Very impressive ....... Nice bounce back !!!! Quote
Buckzip Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Outfreakingstanding win zips. Now let's not have a let down next week. Quote
zipsrule Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Go Zips!! Solid game on both sides of the ball. Let's get ready for MAC play! Quote
Dave in Green Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I just don't know what to believe anymore now that GP1's Zips football predictions have proven so unreliable. 1 Quote
MDZip Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Well the experts did predict a big day for Conn(e)(o)r. They just didn't get the right one. How about the day from DeAndre Scott and Zach Paul? Zips could get offensive, defensive and special teams players of the week (and if Scott's pick 6 had counted, I think they would). Heck of a day. GJGood Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 All offseason I said that I thought Marshall was our toughest non-conference opponent and that I thought we'd match up best with (other than Howard) Pitt because I thought they'd be power run oriented and that we'd have an extremely solid run defense. Now, after the Marshall game, I am quite a bit more concerned with our run defense. I hope Marshall just had us off balance and out of our comfort zone with their play calling and that my intial thoughts turn out to be fairly accurate concerning this game.I really need to learn to stay with my initial impressions sometimes instead of overthinking things sometimes. Roo Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Hopefully the bigger win today is what Akron does in recruiting......should be a lot more welcome to go in to those homes with a Pitt W on the burner. 1 Quote
