Again, Dambrot shows that he does not know how to do a rotation. The only reason they won this game was the heart of the team. He played the team's leading scorer, 3rd Team All-MAC, 13 minutes. By the way he was moving, dunks, warm-ups and defense, looks like no injury. Even though Forsythe played 13 minutes, he lead the Zips in scoring.

Dambrot refuses to play this kid and run plays in the low post for him. The kid gets momentum, scores 5 points in the first half, then takes him out. Kretzer has done nothing, and he refuses to put Aaron Jackson in. Then you take your big man and switch him out for offense/defense when, obviously, Pat and Isaiah have advantage in the post. Can't State was in foul trouble and still refused to go low.
Terrible coaching, terrible substitution rotations. Thank God this team covers up all the terrible coaching.

If Forsythe stays out of foul trouble tonight, gets the start and plays 31 minutes, Zips win. He needs more than 6 shots in a game. Pound the ball inside! You're a MAC team with two good post players! Ridiculous!

Aaaaaaaaand block #2. Feel free to add your opinions to open threads...no need to create a new one with the exact same stuff following every game. Thanks and GO ZIPS!

Agreed. Topic merged with previous one. RooYahoo, if you enjoy posting here, please think long and hard before you start your next thread. ZN is not intended for personal agendas.

You got your wish. Aaron Jackson looked lost in the limited time he saw the floor and Pat was sidelined after aggravating that injury you insist doesn't exist. Maybe you should trust that Dambrot knows a little more than you think he does.

My early thoughts on the rotation next year:

I'd like to see Kretzer get less minutes, Isaiah Johnson at maybe 10 minutes a game/Pat 30, and Aaron Jackson get some more time.

I'd like to see players start earning playing time for next season by virtue of their performances in pre-season practices and scrimmages, and continue earning more or less PT by virtue of their total performance in games. By total performance I don't mean just points and rebounds, but combined performance in all offensive and defensive aspects of the game -- something that might start showing up in +/- ratings, for example.

Intra-squad scrimmages are going to be epic this summer & fall. Our guys are literally going to face tougher competition in the intra-squad scrimmages than we will with most of our opponents next season. Look at these lineups:

G Noah............................Antino

G Josh Williams...............IV

W Reggie.........................Kretzer

F Kwan............................Agba (The Man-Child Warrior)

C Pat...............................Big Dog

6 AJ.................................BJ

Edit: Got ahead of myself; forgot Noah won't be fully healthy till maybe November/December.
