Lee Adams Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 We were in the same position for the last 2 years and choked. Until we actually win the next few games we are what our past says we are and that is a bottom dweller. The squawk about what this team 'should' do gets mundane. They need to take advantage of a mostly season great performance by the defense as well as a relatively soft MAC schedule. Ya play the cards you are dealt. 'Should' they win today? Its easy to say they 'should'. If the coaches don't try to make these guys do more than they have been doing well they 'should' handle Miami.Worry about UB,a tougher game, next week. Quote
LZIp Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 EA of the PD - Akron Looking to Reach .500Saturday's matchup will be a look at two young quarterbacks in Akron sophomore Tommy Woodson and Miami true freshman Billy Bahl. Both QBs became starters during the season and are coming off victories, as Akron defeated UMass last week and Miami took down Eastern Michigan. Both are also best described as being on the hefty side of the ledger. The 6-4, 248-pound Bahl has passed for 1,050 yards, 5 TD and 11 interceptions this season. However, the last three weeks he has passed for 543 yards, 3 TD and 1 INT.I haven't seen this Bahl guy, but I find it interesting that he is a good 25lbs heavier than Woodson. I wouldn't guess as athletic as Woody. The pass rush ought to feast off that. Also O/U on Alonzo Smith 60 yards. I'm taking the under. Quote
LoyalZIP Posted November 14, 2015 Author Report Posted November 14, 2015 The white pants and jersey with the blue helmet looks really good Quote
LZIp Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 The noobs started off the broadcast by calling our coach Bobby Bowden. Also, What the hell is American Sports Network? I read an article about them last week I believe that said they screwed up the broadcast for half of an FIU game. Quote
LZIp Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Hey, Andrew Pratt is still dropping balls. Quote
Dr Z Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) Last week, first four plays, pass, pass, pass, punt. This week, first four plays, pass, pass, pass, punt.Second series last week, run, run, run, punt.Stay tuned... Edited November 14, 2015 by Dr Z Quote

LoyalZIP Posted November 14, 2015 Author Report Posted November 14, 2015 Hell of a play call there. 32 yard TD pass from Woodson to Lane on 4th and 6. Quote

ZachTheZip Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Miami ties it after a big PI call on Akron. Quote
LZIp Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Not a bad drive by them..Defense needs to tighten up. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Need to get more pressure on their QB. Also need to stop shooting ourselves in the foot. 1 Quote
zipsoutsider Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Miami ties it after a big PI call on Akron.Looked like the receiver got away with pushing off but tough to tell for sure with no replay.Good catch by Pratt. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Hundley runs into the endzone untouched! 14-7 Zips. Quote
zipsoutsider Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 And.....the pass opens up the run game. Quote
LoyalZIP Posted November 14, 2015 Author Report Posted November 14, 2015 The offense is really clicking right now. Just have to keep it up and eliminate these defensive penalties. Quote
LZIp Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Great response by the offense. Nice run blocking by the OL, and Woody seems to be on his game today. Hundley should be able to get 100 easy. Quote
