I guess for Akron it isn't impactful because Akron isn't a college town. The area around UofA is sort of like a small town, but the businesses seem to have right sized.

KSU to eliminate 19 undergrad majors.  Due to lack of conferring degrees (<5) over a 3-year window. A couple of these programs should have never been majors to begin with, but the vast majority of these are serious areas of study.
