Blue & Gold Posted October 11, 2016 Report Posted October 11, 2016 Is this game on the Big Ten Network? I ask because there's no Video link to watch the match on GoZips.com. Quote

TennZip Posted October 11, 2016 Report Posted October 11, 2016 (edited) 1-0 Michigan State...at half time they scored on a penalty kick around 22 or 23 minutes game tracker shows that Adam Najem was replaced by Marcel Zajac at 36 minutes Jonathan Lewis - yellow card at 9 minutes Akron corner kicks in the half were taken by Pau ; Nick Hinds and Niko DeVera Edited October 11, 2016 by TennZip should have typed corner kicks Quote
skip-zip Posted October 11, 2016 Report Posted October 11, 2016 We're down 1-0 at Halftime, if this thing is correct. Quote
bigzipguy Posted October 11, 2016 Report Posted October 11, 2016 now down 2-1 , goal by Harter, assist from Najem Quote

fknbuflobo Posted October 11, 2016 Author Report Posted October 11, 2016 Tough to see any road to an At-Large bid. Certainly seems like win the MAC, or stay home. And forget about an NCAA match at home. 1 Quote
Blue & Gold Posted October 11, 2016 Report Posted October 11, 2016 (edited) Certainly a down year... which we're quite unaccustomed to around here. Unless we win the MAC & make a deep run in the NCAA's this season's busted. Edited October 11, 2016 by Blue & Gold Quote
skip-zip Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 It's just rather stunning, knowing that we were considered the #1 team in the Nation just a few weeks ago. 1 Quote
Zip_ME87 Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 Not sure what's going on with these Zips. They looked good for the last 20 minutes. The rest of the game, the guys weren't moving to the ball...seemed to be just standing around waiting for the ball to come to them...as well as letting Michigan St push them off the ball. Not the team we are used to seeing at all. I didn't look at the final stats, but I think the Zips had more shots and probably had more possession, but much of that possession was in the first 2 thirds of the field. Never really threatened much until the last 20 minutes. Someone once mentioned to me that SOG isn't a very telling statistic because many times a SOG isn't really very threatening...often an easy save for the GK. That was true of the Zips' shots on goal in the first 70 minutes of this match. Quote

I just had to follow the score on GameTracker. Quote
