I believe the Zips show up and win this one.  Decent weather, and a championship fever from Cleveland will carry over into the Zips.  It'll look ugly in the first half, but the Zips will adjust in the second half and come back to win.  Everyone will be back on board with the Zips.

Toledo comes in 43rd in the country in rushing and Akron hasn't slowed down the running whatsoever this season. Combine that with last Thursday Woodson seemed to have something nagging his shoulder and I'm guessing it impacted his accuracy. Akron needs to play a near flawless offensive game to be in a position to win and I'm not sure they will be able to.

Again, take this site with a grain of salt, but Warren Ball is not listed for the first time in a long time. I'm not sure Ball playing will change any of my answers, but some may consider.

I picked the Zips to win.  The only way that happens is if Woody has a really big day and the D stops the run.

voodoo!  Very creative.  I only hope our coaching staff can muster the same level of creativity.  Particularly on offense.  Offense can be the best defense.

 

What went wrong at Buffalo?  We were beat badly in the trenches on both sides of the ball.  LB's consistently over played themselves out of position.  I hope a little pride will lead to a better result tonight.  I don't expect to shut the Rockets down completely.  I just look for Woody to bounce back; so we put more points on the board than the Rockets.

I feel getting out to an early lead is vital. If we can get Toledo to feel the need to pass instead of just trying to ram it down our throats 40+ times, we might have a chance.

I would have rather been wrong and saw a Zips win.
