Z.I.P.
W. VA women playing UCLA in the snow in Morgantown now. Bloomington perfect in comparison.

bigzipguy
When you do not get a top 16 seed, it makes it tough!!!!!
fknbuflobo
Very rarely does a non seeded team advance to Thanksgiving.

Z.I.P.
We played the opponent even on their (dirt) pitch. The season is disappointing, but we should be proud of how it finished. Fought hard on the road. Next year is a must-advance season, but don't expect so much drama -- or injuries!
fknbuflobo
Zips still have never won in Bloomington
wimbledonfc
Obviously not the result we wanted but positives from the game started very well and should of had a penalty and hit the post during the 1st half. once IU scored (off an Akron mistake), was hard to break them down. the team has a bright future. I'm calling g a 2nd star within 2 years
MDZip
Disappointing result but at least we weren't the number one seed and got ousted by Providence. Wow.

Giving up 4 goals in 13 minutes after leading 4-1...MAJOR collapse.
Zip_ME87
For anyone still following the Mens Tournament, there is another Akron connection besides Phil Fives at Indiana... http://www.siuecougars.com/sports/m-soccer/coaches/berger_billy?view=bio SIUE - Director of Operations Billy Berger begins his fourth year with SIUE men's soccer program in 2016, and his second as the full-time Director of Operations. Berger is directly involved in all off-field activities for the program including practice planning, travel, and video operations. Prior to coming to SIUE, Berger worked as the team manager for the Akron men's soccer program from 2009-2012. He assisted the Zips' coaching staff with training, equipment management, game day preparation and video analysis. During Berger's time with Akron, the Zips won the NCAA Championship in 2010 and finished as the NCAA Runner-Up in 2009. He graduated from Akron in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in sports management. He earned a master's in Kinesiology from SIUE in 2016. A native of Columbia Station, Ohio, Berger spent the 2012 season as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Columbia High School.
