The Ball State Cardinals own the league's No. 28-rated front 7 in terms of stopping the run, allowing 97.33 yards per game when on the road.

It's homecoming, our club level seats are sold out (lol), I'm feeling a nice performance from the Zips. We will beat the spread and create multiple turnovers. I do not have much confidence in us breaking the 100 yard mark in rushing, however. The 3 headed monster that WMU has at RB didn't break that amount by a whole lot.

I feel that the team will get a big boost from the sold out club level seats.

Akron ranks 35th in the country with five interceptions, and 52nd with three fumbles recovered.

While the Zips offense is averaging only 336 yards of offense a game, I find it amazing that they are converting 47% (36 of 76) or their 3rd downs. That ranks in the top 20 in the country.

I see this being a tough game. I fear that BSU's defense may be able to stop our running game making our offense pretty one dimensional and therefore more predictable. That being said I do think the Cardinals will fall victim to a couple key turnovers on offense themselves.

I know many think the Zips should win this going away. I am much more nervous about this one than that. Hopefully my nervousness is unfounded.

Confident from last week, Zips to step up at home and pull away at end.  Defense will pull in a couple of Interceptions as BSU try to catch up.  Zip offense will be more pass happy without Ball and with a less rusty Thomas with healthier receiving corp.

Especially because I think we were maybe one for our first ten at Troy on 3rd down

I voted that we will win by less than 8. Always seems close when we play them

I voted that we create 2+ turnovers. I feel like we will be more aggressive in this game.

I voted that we will have between 100-130 yard. Between Edwards, Morgan and Sands at RB and Woodson and Nelson at QB...we better be able to go over the 100 yard rushing mark as a team.

I put zips win by under 8 and I have a weird feeling that Woodson is going to be more involved in the running game pushing our yardage total +131.

This might be the most positive post I have seen out of you on here

Straight down the middle :)

That's how I voted, too.  I bet Testicle fans are missing Keith Wenning, Wille Snead and Jahwan Edwards about now.

And Nate Davis maybe

Ahh Nate The Great.... I remember playing against him my freshmen year of high school in a passing scrimmage. Hell of an arm. He almost beat Michigan once too.

I think this will be a 1 score game. If Ball was available, I'd have Zips winning.

I feel absolutely terrible the way Warren Ball's career has ended.  I made the trip to BG and was probably about 100' away from the play where he got injured.  My heart sunk for the guy.  That being said, and maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't think he was any sort of world-beater at RB for us.  Maybe that's him, maybe that's on the O-line, or both.  I think we'll be OK with Manny Morgan and Van Edwards.  Small sample size, but thus far they're averaging 4.0 ypc vs Ball's 4.4.

The key to this game is Woodson and his continued shaking of rust.  We need 250+ out of him.
