So Colorado (PAC-12) is a "P5" team in hoops, and Gonzaga isn't?

Boise State isn't considered a P5 in football, meanwhile, Rutgers and Kansas are. It has always been a measurement of what conference you're affiliated with, not the quality of the team.

Correct! Colorado is a P5 team and Gonzaga is a P5ish team (see explanation below).
