GP1 Posted 2 hours ago Author Report Posted 2 hours ago Indiana is probably the most interesting outcome in college football in my life. It's one thing for a team to upset another like App State did to Michigan. It's something entirely different for this kind of turnaround to result in such high level success. 2 Quote

I attribute this jackassery to NIL and there being little consequences for bad behavior because you can always transfer somewhere else. If they want to be professionals, treat them like professionals. Want to embarrass the NFL/college football Mr. Player? Want to run your mouth to the point someone takes a swing at you? Here is a hefty fine. Players don't misbehave like this in the NFL because they will forfeit lots of money in terms of fines and game checks. Unionized college athletics now like the NFL and they can begin to get these clowns under control. If players want to appeal, they can have their union do it for them. 3 Quote
MDZip Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago My son gets an athletic digest. In it, it said about Indiana - "A program that had been the worst in Power 4 history and the losingest in FBS history just won the national title two years after getting dragged into quadruple overtime by 2-10 Akron," 2 Quote
