2024 Outstanding Offers

Recommended Posts

It’s going to take some time to fully update this list as there are so many offers out there, but I’ll do a bump every now and then. Some players that we offered late and are clear P5 guys I’m not going to add. If we offered somewhat early and they developed into P5 guys, I’ll leave them on the list.

Curious but too lazy to research it myself.

Any informed insights appreciated.

1) What percentage of ATHs make the playing field?

2) What position do ATHs end up playing?

Can't speak to #1.

#2 Athletes tend to play WR, DB, and LB. TE and EDGE are also possibilities if the size is there.

This is a fantastic answer because it's the same one I would have given if I was answering my question.

Let's make it simpler. Anyone with stats on the percentage of ATHs that end up on defense/offense/washouts.

I think DEF is where they tend to fall more often than not. Less niche and more versatile on that side of the ball.

Some ppl declare ath as they don’t care what they play, willing to play special teams, anything to play but usually someone with the size & speed to play special teams at least until they settle in on offense or defense

I have no idea about #1.

Athletes are typically labeled that way because they play multiple positions in high school and sometimes are expected to grow into a different position in college. A lot of times these kids are being recruited by different schools to play different positions, so it’s just easier to label them as an “Athlete” instead of multiple positions.
