Hopefully all these extra minutes wear down the Miami starters. We’ve used a lot more bench

7:34 remaining in the game and they finally called an over-the-back foul on Miami. Maybe the seven before that let them know what it looks like.

Not a great announcing crew. Akron has been the team attacking the basket.

I don't begrudge the refs letting them play.  The issue is that Tuesday they'll be calling every damn ticky tack foul.  I'd just like to see consistency.

Miami definitely treating this like a tournament game. They usually play their bench a lot more.

Evan’s defense has been massive. You could tell our physicality went down when he got in foul trouble

4 on Evan isn't great. He's been disrupting Miami's offense all game.

They may have played a cupcake schedule but they are not. But a whole lot of things have gone wrong for the Zips.

Lyles should have fouled immediately. Not sure why everyone besides Evan ran back when he was the one that had 4 fouls.

Yep, moved to 0-4 against top 150 teams on the season. This IMO was the best we played in those losses, but just not enough shots fell.

Another year of not breaking through and beating top opponents. Maybe in March.

Miami made an adjustment in the final minutes and basically took Tavari away, doubling him and forcing someone else to beat them. I would imagine our future opponents may take notice of that, too.

Disappointing loss, but pretty tough with all the things that were going against them. At Miami, huge foul and foul shot disparity, uncharacteristic poor three-point shooting, to lose by three sucks but it doesn't make me that concerned for the future. See you at the MAC tournament. As our friends in Athens say Muck Fiami.
