csims0917 Posted Saturday at 10:07 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:07 PM Hopefully all these extra minutes wear down the Miami starters. We’ve used a lot more bench Quote
MDZip Posted Saturday at 10:07 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:07 PM 7:34 remaining in the game and they finally called an over-the-back foul on Miami. Maybe the seven before that let them know what it looks like. Quote

Geniuses /s Not a great announcing crew. Akron has been the team attacking the basket. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted Saturday at 10:09 PM Author Report Posted Saturday at 10:09 PM I don't begrudge the refs letting them play. The issue is that Tuesday they'll be calling every damn ticky tack foul. I'd just like to see consistency. 1 Quote

csims0917 Posted Saturday at 10:11 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:11 PM (edited) Evan’s defense has been massive. You could tell our physicality went down when he got in foul trouble Edited Saturday at 10:11 PM by csims0917 Quote

kreed5120 Posted Saturday at 10:13 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:13 PM (edited) 4 on Evan isn't great. He's been disrupting Miami's offense all game. Edited Saturday at 10:16 PM by kreed5120 Quote

MDZip Posted Saturday at 10:23 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:23 PM They may have played a cupcake schedule but they are not. But a whole lot of things have gone wrong for the Zips. Quote

kreed5120 Posted Saturday at 10:29 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:29 PM Lyles should have fouled immediately. Not sure why everyone besides Evan ran back when he was the one that had 4 fouls. Quote

csims0917 Posted Saturday at 10:30 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:30 PM Absolutely idiotic play Quote
kreed5120 Posted Saturday at 10:31 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:31 PM Even if we find a way to get this to OT I don't feel great with Evan out of the game. Quote

Zippy87 Posted Saturday at 10:38 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:38 PM Miami made an adjustment in the final minutes and basically took Tavari away, doubling him and forcing someone else to beat them. I would imagine our future opponents may take notice of that, too. Quote
MDZip Posted Saturday at 10:41 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:41 PM (edited) Disappointing loss, but pretty tough with all the things that were going against them. At Miami, huge foul and foul shot disparity, uncharacteristic poor three-point shooting, to lose by three sucks but it doesn't make me that concerned for the future. See you at the MAC tournament. As our friends in Athens say Muck Fiami. Edited Saturday at 10:42 PM by MDZip Quote
