This kind of reads like things were changed?  Maybe it can still workout which will be good for this kid and maybe the team short term , CB is exciting and Roggow was very efficient...

I just read an article in the Des Moines Register about one of ISU's co captains.  This will be his 7th year of competition.

My read is that he was ruled eligible in court and the NCAA succeeded is obtaining a stay of the ruling in court. Affected individuals can pursue legal remedy individually. What I don’t know is whether Poff is pursuing that.

The NCAA decided and he's ineligible.  It's up to the courts to change that.

What's best for Akron? At this point, do we want him to be eligible? If so, won't that throw a wrench into things? Poff supposedly won the QB battle over the Summer, so would they just go ahead and put him out there? How can you bench CB at this point? I don't know, to me, it just makes things potentially worse for the team chemistry.

i would say use poff while you can and try to save CB for next year.

In this day and age of the portal tomorrow is never guaranteed. Best player should play regardless of who it is.
