RowdyZip
Thoughts on this one? Anyone else gonna be sitting at the computer listening like yours truly?I was a little scared of this one earlier in the season after we dropped the hammer on em in the JAR, and now I'm downright terrified of their retaliation sans J Wood. rowdy52
I will be on and off here listening and trying to get some homework done at the same time. That homework part might only last for about 5 minutes in reality though hahaOn one side being on the road and after losing to NIU at home by 10 points and watching our play during that game, I'm somewhat scared of how we're gonna come out and if guys are going to step-up for this game. It think we should be able to tell early on how the game is going to go. On the other side though we did beat them 80-44 if my memory is correct when we played them at home so even though we may not win by that same margin being on the road and not having Woods, it's hard to think that margin of victory could completely disappear and go the other way. zipfan 81
I have never seen a Coach so inconsistent, doesnt play B. McKnight the last 12 minutes of the game Tuesday because of his defense, then starts him today at Bowling Green, a defensive team. We will see what happens.... geez
rowdy52
They're reporting that Woods is ahead of schedule and should be ready by the end of the season. They're also saying they are not ruling him out for the VCU game next Saturday although that's a big maybe, and should be ready to go by the Buffalo game on March 1. Great news there! Let'sGoZips94
They're reporting that Woods is ahead of schedule and should be ready by the end of the season. They're also saying they are not ruling him out for the VCU game next Saturday although that's a big maybe, and should be ready to go by the Buffalo game on March 1. Great news there! My mom and I were talking, and we were thinking that if J Wood comes back and has a game at least before the Can't game or before the tourney, that this season could still be something. Come on Zips let's finish strong!!!!!!
skip-zip
I'm sure starting B. McKnight has something to do with the fact that we have been getting off to slow starts offensively. I don't expect it to affect the normal rotations and playing time.Beating these guys by 36 last time should mean a win today. I hope. I wasn't impressed with them at all. But, if they have gotten better, and we lose this one, we could very well slip down to a 6-8 seed by season's end.
Blue & Gold
There, KD just did it again. I just turned the game on it sounded like Frenchy said Linhart has all 6 of our points and KD just took him out of the game. I just don't understand that strategy. zippy5
Sounds like there's a lot of Zip fans there? Everytime we score, I hear a lot of cheering over the radio...
rowdy52
Sounds like we have some good aggressive defense that showed up today! Looks like it's going to be a very low scoring game if this keeps up.They just said there's some Rowdies there, dont know how many.
ZachTheZip
Looks like we're rebounding from the last game nicely.
RowdyZip
My goodness this is awful. We dont turn this around, we're out in the first round of the tourney. SLOP!
zippy5
I have a question. If we're this bad on the road, and that good at home, what team do we see at the Q?Our home team, road badness, or an average of the two...
bUAkronG
wow down 48-45 with 7:17 to go and absolutely no momentum. I haven't heard anything from Linhart in quite a few minutes.Wow Ced finally showed up today with 10 for the first time in a month. Now where's his help?As I'm typing this Linhart got a steal and missed a three. This is ugly.
rowdy52
Oh what the heck?! Where was the team we saw in the first half? Can we start blocking and getting that offense going here. And I think the defense we found before is leaving too.
Bleacher Bum
I just got home and turned it on. Zips by 1, 51-50 with about 4 minutes left. I don't know how the flows been, but according to these posts it's been ugly. And B McKnight just shot an airball......
Bleacher Bum
By the way, Can't is rolling early.
bUAkronG
I did not expect Ced to be the one to give our team a boost. Let's go boys!
ZachTheZip
Let's go Ced! Do you think he's finally getting back to his old self?

bUAkronG
Zips win. Phew, that was ugly but who cares, as long as the W come! :)Now if only Can't could do their part....
ZachTheZip
Can't up 32-25 at the half. Bubba () leads all scorers with 16.
GoZips88
I hate pulling for Can't but I want that bye.
ZachTheZip
Dials, Ced, and Linhart step up and each score 14 points. That's what I expected to happen all season long. Those guys are the warriors and leaders.
rowdy52
ZIPS win!! It was close there at the end but they pulled it out, what a game by Cedrick! Hopefully he's getting back to his old self. Looking forward to going and watching them play at Miami Tuesday now.
skip-zip
WOW...gutsy win. And we didn't play well. This probably assures us of no lower than the 5th seed since we now have a 2-game lead, and the tie-breaker advantage over BG. Win that game at Miami, and we could still get in for the #4 spotOur inside-out game is GONE without Jeremiah. It's killing our field goal shoointg. But I understand he might be coming back sooner than anticipated. Good news.We can't rebound without J. Wood either. Thank God for our defense. Got some help from Cedrick. Good news.Chris McKnight coming along nicely.....he will ABSOLUTELY BE THE KEY GUY GOING DOWN THE STRETCH.Bardo?....seriously needs some passing and catching exercises. But, thanks for the two key free throws.
