Looks like he's got a pretty strong leg...and he's left footed.

"The lefty has a huge leg and shows outstanding potential. He has perhaps the strongest leg in the nation."

No doubt a great kickoff addition, hopefully accurate too.

Hopefully the accuracy isn't the same as it is with left handed pitchers!

Got my fingers crossed for this kid though.  We need him.

Wow.  Based on that video we may have locked up the punting and kicking game for the next four years.

My thoughts exactly.  Have we ever had our place kicking and punting done by the same player?

Strong leg...I like what I see. Can't wait to see him kick a game winning field goal!

Maybe I don't understand the differences enough, but if the Zips intend to not play him this season, why would they elect to blueshirt him over redshirting him? I guess my question is what advantage does a blueshirt have over redshirting or just putting him on the roster?

That article is much easier to understand.  So, according to that article, he is good to go for this season.

Looking at his twitter, @jerryfitschen, he also runs track for Orange Lutheran, in the tough Trinity League, and take a look on his twitter from 2/10/16.

www.prepcaltrack.com shows him as 3rd fastest in the 200 meters and 4th fastest 400 meters in Orange County.
