Good news: the band is going to the Potato Bowl!

It is a game between the 71st and 99th ranked teams in the country.... It is what it is.

He has great credibility and respect among coaches in this area, and I think having him on our staff has been critical to us earning that trust from these high school coaches. Apparently, Bowden's strategy has worked. Currently Akron has 51 student-athletes on its roster from the state of Ohio; 37 of those live within a 30-mile radius to campus, including eight of the 22 starters.

(I don't want this last comment to steer discussion, as there is so much good in this article, but with all the negative press the ABJ has been giving UA, I've got to mention that at the tail end of this otherwise great article he shoehorns in a jab at the football program. Strange.)
