Per Jon Rothstein Akron will be participating in the 2017 Diamond Head Classic. Other teams participating- Miami, USC, Davidson, Middle Tennessee, Utah St, New Mexico St, and Hawaii.This is already a better step up than this year's tournaments. Tournament is usually the week of Christmas in Hawaii. Some good quality teams involved.1 point

I'd guess that these last two performances probably blows away the idea that preseason predictions has YSU in the Horizon basement this year. Makes me feel a little better.1 point

As down as we are with the season, this game just goes to show that we can absolutely win next week if the right team shows up and the right players are healthy. A bunch of ifs there, I know. We still have a chance to be bowl eligible and that isn't something we should take for granted. OU's win over Toledo was impressive, but they are far from world beaters.1 point

A blow out loss to Buffalo and a multi score loss at home to BG. We are certainly playing like the worst team in the MAC and its not even close.1 point
