    Almost 100% no. The only thing that would make it interesting is if the shake up landed Toledo in the MAC East and we played them in football every season. That will probably not happen though.

    Well, my friend asked me if he could have my tickets to take his young son. I am alright with this. What I am not happy about is that I am alright with this. I wish the Zips were good and fun to watch and then I'll be like "No way!" on letting someone have my tickets. But alas, they make it easy to not go to the stadium on a Tuesday night and just watch it on TV. I wish this was a hard decision to make.

    Some very good observations in this thread. I would add that we have not had a consistent lineup in some time from one season to the next. Lots of new players and players playing new positions.

    IMO, recruiting, recruiting, and recruiting. I respect the coaches and believe they find "system" players over ranking. However, I have been underwhelmed with our recent classes and somewhat disappointed with the career production of some of our higher ranked guys. It seems as though our MLS pipeline has been tapped dry. Not down on Embick and staff, just giving an honest assessment.

    Seems like they bring in all these young men and make three fourths of them watch and not participate at all. If they stay then they might possibly get a shot in year two. Not sure their thought process.

    God bless Joe Dunn. Every week he swallows the disappointment and stays positive as the Zips football world crumbles around him. Let's not forget that he's paid to support the program not be Morley Safer. bigjim has a stronger stomach than me. I barely make it to the first use of the word "challenge."
