  1. Is this going to be an All-Italian coaching staff? Might give a hint as to what will be grillin' at the Lot #9 tailgate next season. Maybe its like a Mafia thing? I mean Proenza is Italian isn't it?I thought Proenza is of Hispanic origin.
  2. LOL... I will be the first to admit that I was only a mediocre collegiate shooter. But thanks for the nod.
  3. Who is the front-runner to replace him?darlington and maybe one of the frosh? i dunno
  4. bummer. I'm excited, though, to see who steps up to take his place.
  5. don't forget Z.I.P.!fouls don't say anything when it doesn't support your irrational rant, yet, they got every call they needed, which were mostly fouls against us... so fouls do say something? make up your mind, you're getting boring.
  6. Before I would click on a thread and would scroll down through the posts being able to read each one in chronological order. Now I click on a thread and see the original post and down below that I see a tree diagram for the rest of the posts and have to click on them one by one to read them. I don't know if this is a new change, but I'd really like to go back to the old format or at least have that option to have all the posts on the same page instead of having to click through the diagram to see the whole conversation.
  7. yeah, we were able to see the replay in slow motion and from multiple angles, but I'm sure you got that function in your head. UVA stepped up and became more physical. There were calls and no calls both ways. In the games where our opponent is more physical we have had difficulty stepping up to the adversity. Also, UVA was called for twice as many fouls as us. They deserved them too, but to say that our yellow cards are a result of an NCAA conspiracy is ridiculous! I bet you line your hats with foil to keep the satellites from reading your thoughts as well . Bad calls happen in every sport and in every game. It's human error and it happens.
  8. agreed... tho I may be willing to once we win a title to remind myself of how hard its been for us to get there.no need to relive it.
  9. +1 it sucks, but whining about the rules and coming up with conspiracy theories as to why we lost just makes our fan base look like pathetic, pissy sore losers.
  10. You may be the only person in the world who thinks that.Penalty Kicks for a national title is just plain stupid...add on the whole mess on what's considered a tie and what's not bullcrap and it's no wonder this is the same NCAA that is responsible for the joke that is the BCS.we beat UNC on PK's and people on here think it should count as a win, now people don't think it should be used to determine who goes on. Sorry, but you have to pick a side. PK's are part of the game and while the outcome SUCKS it's how the cookie crumbles. I believe they do the same sort of thing in hockey too. Personally, I don't think a game should end in a tie and that every tie should go to PK's.
  11. I hope your cardiologist isn't reading this thread.i made the mistake of ordering chicken tenders and it came out as some nasty excuse of grilled chicken samples with toothpicks in each. actually, i haven't ever had good food there.
  12. which brubakers? they don't have a deep fryer either which makes their food options crappy.
  13. so where are people (the ones in Akron) watching tomorrow? I prefer not to go to the Barley House either... though they do have good beer cheese soup!
  14. I hope he doesn't get on here... that would ruin the surprise lol!
  15. i don't really want to read through all the speculative argumentation. how certain are we sure this guy's been hired?
  16. I'll be there for Friday and Sunday. Riding down with three others that I am pretty sure aren't ZipsNation afficianados. Staying at LaQuinta Inn Cary.I hope those who are going can share your travel experiences -- outside the tourney itself. I want some College Cup experts to learn from before I buy my tix to 2010's College Cup in beautiful Santa Barbara. I'd love to see the host school get a shot at stopping the defending champs. UCSB is noted for the top student rooting section in the NCAA. Do you hear what I'm sayin, Rowdies? http://www.ncaa.com/sports/m-soccer/spec-rel/051409aaa.htmlI hear you loud and clear...just to give you the rowdies adventure monday morning...people started waiting at 1am and the last person to get a ticket showed up at 6:30am and the ticket forms were not given out until 9am monday and had to get tickets tuesday...i was fortunate to get one since i showed up at 5:30am, and 20 people waited in line for 2 hours and did not get a ticket through the university, some did get them off websites fortunately...about how many students were sold tickets?
  17. I'm not going, but there are some tickets are out there if you have extra money sitting around to shell out for them. I'm grad-u-ma-cating
