    Defense is going to be key. Zips leaned on the defense last year, and without Brown/Grice, need to find that new strength.

    These next seven days (3 games) are the most important of the season. Win all three, at home, and roll into the MAC Tourney on a high note.

    Can't have another let down. Akron's been lucky that the teams below them haven't gone on a win streak during Akron's struggles. Returning home to the JAR will be a big boost. Zips by 13.

    Strong home schedule, which will hopefully bring the fans in regardless of when the games are. The late bye week is very strange. Not really fair to Akron, but c;est la vie!

    Akron really missed Pat as a compliment/backup to Big Dog. Big Dog couldn't do anything defensively down low most of the second half because of foul trouble. Akron, a good three point shooting team, did the opposite. Kent, a bad three point defending team and bad free throw shooting team, did the opposite. Just an anomaly. On to the next game.

    Wasn't the weather bad for that game, or earlier in the day? And it was a Tuesday. The bobbleheads for 2/27 should be big because it was a Friday, and 3/1 is Ohio so always a big crowd.

    Big game vs Cant. 6:00 PM time is strange, but nevertheless, will be an exciting atmosphere. JAR will have a better atmosphere on March 4th though...

    Early predictions for the game? Akron 78 CMU 72 Akron needs to have solid interior defense against their guards, otherwise it will be similar to last time they played.

    Great win! The crowd at the game this Friday is going to be ELECTRIC!!! Biggest game left on the schedule, especially with how well Central Michigan has been playing. Go Zips!
