  1. Only thing embarassing here is your understanding of Constitutional law.
  2. why can't Akron do that?
  3. Why can't Akron have a toilet paper toss?
  4. sold out crowd in Mt Pleasant for BG game?
  5. yeah, one of the few bad idea this season from the athletic department. But the student section was singing along and was ahead of them by a few words and was just bad.
  6. I know I felt Christ's presence multiple times last night, especially when the student section sang over the a acapella choir during the national anthem. Whaley's injury was no accident.😇
  7. my uneducated theory was that all those missed 3s led to a bunch of those offensive rebounds. the buffalo teams back in the day would punish on 2nd chance points.
  8. only knew because I watched the game. just like anyone who watched Pollock knew Marcia Gay Harden would win the Oscar.
  9. The refs ignored this rule near the end of the game: (although I don't think the back bencher Kent player meant it as a taunt) In NCAA college basketball, removing a jersey (shirt) within the visual confines of the playing area during the game (including celebration) is prohibited and will result in a technical foul. Key Rules Regarding Jerseys and Technical Fouls: Removal of Jersey: Players cannot remove their jersey while in the visual confines of the playing area. If done, it is treated as an unsporting, non-sporting act or a taunt.
  10. EMU lost Hart. They took Kent to double OT, and in the process lost two more players. One big guy took a hard fall on his shoulder, screamed out in pain, and the trainer embraced him and took him off the court. Another guy messed up his ankle and limped to the locker room. Then they lose by 35 to Central.
  11. Kent's Griffith had 17 rebounds! wonder how many were off missed 3s.
  12. I've done these game for 27 years, and this is one of the most bizarre Akron/Kent games I've attended. Kent gave up with 4 or 5 minutes left.
  13. 1-23 leads to lots of offensive rebounds.
  14. Ugh. Zips and Red Hawks now tie for the longest home win-streaks.
