(Above)Some good KD memories. Was that the last time the Zips beat Toledo? Zips had #5 seed and faced the last seeded Rockets in the Tuesday night first round in Cleveland. I think this was the late night game. Was a lot of fun when all the teams went to Cleveland. Zips went on to win the Championship. That wasn't a strong MAC year. 1st seeded BG was only 19-14. And Ball State with an overall losing record was the 2nd seed as the West Champion.

Rockets are always a mystery to Zips fans. I can only remember meeting once in Cleveland and that was an overtime thriller late at night many, many years ago. And the Zips always seem to play them at Toledo. There was a big game at the JAR number of years back: at Noon on a Saturday, maybe on ESPNU...and Pearson and the Rockets embarrassed the Zips. Don't think that will happen this time.

Apparently, the drunk Ball State guy thought the Akron game was Saturday and missed it, disappointing much of his family.

All these "pot shots" at KD. Groce out-coached him twice in MAC finals and had "luck" something KD was lacking. On a side note, DJ Cooper suspended in Europe in 2018 for doping. He submitted urine which had a pregnancy hormone in it. And didn't make the Bosnian team

There is something wrong with his stats. Yesterday, he wasn't included at all.

Even better... go to the MAC Conference web page and look at the conference only stats. There's a stat for margin of victory. Zips are at 19.3. next is Ravenna at 7.0. also Cheese is over 20ppg and is 2nd ranking scorer in MAC. Lots of good stuff

People like to think they "know" stuff. If you look at KDs and President Millers CVs and background, there's no connection or relationship that one can find between them that would make me believe such a stupid rumor.

Zips won first four MAC games by total of 77 points! Did Zips regroup in second half without Reece and Williams on the floor?
