After tonight, Zips still have a chance at the 4th seed, although, I think they would benefit by an extra game before heading to Cleveland. Ohio, WMU are the bottom two and NIU is imploding, so the games against BSU and Miami are huge for the Zips. Would be nice to get a first round home game against the Broncos.

When I got in my car, French and Dunn were announcing offensive player of the game. They gave it to Jackson. Yeah, he scored 20 points, but, as usual, he made some bone-headed selfish plays that stifled their momentum and led to some easy points for Buffalo. He does this every game, and this time it really cost them. I do like how Groce will come out after every game even if it's a loss and tell it like it is. The former coach didn't do that.

Nationally televised, big crowd, lots of students and the Zips didn't choke. A nice change.

Admittedly, they are a lot more self-aware than the Kittens. I like the one about the lead ref having a deep, personal vendetta for them.
