    There are a few nasty bugs going around. I've known a few people, including my sister, who had a weeks long bad cold and were tested for everything. I think the protocol is don't go to ER unless you are having trouble breathing.

    Reminds me of Brian Walsh and Pat Forsythe got the flu in Detroit. Zips still had to play.

    And now allegedly open the MAC against Ohio on 1/4. Groce clearly isn't getting it thru to his players that they need to think of their teammates and the program and be careful. Unbelievable. I think Toledo and Ball State didn't miss a game last year because of COVID on their team, not that it helped them much in March

    This is going just like last year. Some teams manage to control the COVID outbreaks (such as Toledo and Kent) while Akron doesn't. Knew this was coming. Was looking forward to NIU game. But NIU and Buffalo also have two games postponed.

    they had the tournament last year. so doubtful. The CDC shortened its recommended isolation time for people who test positive for Covid-19 from 10 days to five days if they’re asymptomatic

    I think we are all hoping there's a game and then one on New Years...

    Well that goes along with my suggestion that they revamp the entire game day experience and make it less cringy...for him as well.

    If you are at the games, Kennedy is the guy who, after Akron fumbles on the 3 yard line, grabs the mike and asks the 500 fans to "smile for the camera" or promises chik filla for the 7 people in section 332 if Akron makes a field goal.

    The only radio station presence is the vapid and grating Keith Kennedy. Banishing him would be a good first step.

    As long as Akron is in the top 8 and heading to Cleveland, I'm good.

    They had a lot of covid problems last year.

    True but while we sit at home I don't mind enjoying someone else's misery.

    Buffalo down 12 at half. Came back and had 2 point lead. Then lost by 3 pointer at the buzzer. Jeanathan Williams turnover cost them the game.

    Some news: Miami loses to Bellarmine (first season in Division 1). Whitford and Company lose to Illinois State by 21. And Buffalo loses by one to Canisius who was 2-9 going into the game.

    And that's another way to look at the situation. Effing sucks. 100%. And no reason to believe this isn't going to keep happening with all the MAC teams.

    scoring only 33 points against Navy? 9 point win over Kentucky Christian? But i think we are trying to put a positive (no pun intended) spin on the situation

    I realize I was going to be one of the 300 there, but it's going to be a rough couple weeks. Agree with Clark that this was basically a practice session. Get Aziz some more minutes, etc.
